Meet the Team
TOM AUGUST
Tom serves as Chairman of August Real Estate Co. and focuses on strategy and oversight of the company. For more than 20 years, he led Prentiss Properties and was responsible for developing iconic properties that define the Dallas skyline, including the Comerica Bank Tower and 1700 Pacific. After Prentiss Properties, he continued to serve in leadership roles at a number of commercial real estate firms, including Equity Office Properties, a Blackstone Group platform.
EVAN AUGUST
Evan, the Co-founder of August Real Estate Co., has 15 years of experience as an investment sales professional, handling over $10 billion of transactions in California and Texas. He has strong financial skills and the ability to identify investment opportunities that leverage real estate trends. He began his career at CBRE and later worked at Eastdil Secured, where he sold office assets in Texas. Evan holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and currently lives in University Park with his wife and four children.
JORDAN AUGUST
Jordan, the Co-founder of August Real Estate Co., has a diverse background in real estate ranging from investment sales, finance, architectural design, construction management and development. He has worked at some of the best firms in the industry including CBRE, Behringer Harvard REIT I, and Equity Office Properties, and completed a graduate program in architecture at UC Berkeley. Jordan has development experience in retail, residential, office and mixed-use properties, including the restoration of the Statler Hotel and CGB. He is a graduate of Jesuit College Prep and received his B.S. from the College of Charleston. He currently resides in Old East Dallas with his wife and two children.
JOSH MCKIBBEN
Meet Josh McKibben, a native Texan with a passion for property management that dates back to 2004. Prior to that, he worked as a Client Care professional at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, where he developed valuable skills that he still uses to this day. Josh loves the diversity, culture, and architectural heritage of his city, and his expertise in Exposition Park allows him to connect clients with their perfect properties. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending quality time with family, indulging in photography, and going fishing.
BRANDON BATY
Brandon, our Construction Manager at August Real Estate Co., boasts a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University. With his background as a commercial real estate Project Manager, he managed the design and construction activities of various builds for a multitude of builds within the flexible retail and office space. At August Real Estate Co., Brandon oversees construction management across all properties, delivering exceptional results. He is dedicated to building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Lauren o’steen
Lauren, our Leasing Manager at August Real Estate Co., transitioned out of a career in brokerage where she supported a team of high performing agency office leasing brokers. She thrives in fast-paced work environments with high levels of relationship building skills and is valued for her organization. Prior to that, she spent time in the commercial title industry and served as an integral part of a top-rated escrow team. She graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from Dallas Baptist University. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys drinking coffee, spending time with friends, and traveling.
